10th Annual Tour de Brooklyn Presented by Jamis is Sunday June 1, 2014

Registration is now closed. We’re sorry, but we have reached our full capacity, and cannot accept any more registrations online or in person. There will be no registrations allowed on the morning of the tour either.

However, if you would like to still participate in the tour, please consider volunteering!

If you missed the tour, you can still come by for fun bike festivities! The NY Bike Jumble will be in Erie Basin Park from 10:30 am till 4pm. The NY Bike Jumble is a flea market for bikes. Get yourself a new or used bike, new and used accessories, clothing, collectibles, artwork, overstocks and bargains galore.

We are also partnering with Southwest Brooklyn Industrial Development Corp and the Carroll Gardens Association to bring you a ton of great deals at local Red Hook businesses. Make sure to grab a guide at the SWIBDC table and to set off and explore the neighborhood by bike.

2014 Tour de Brooklyn presented by Jamis is Sold Out!

The Tour de Brooklyn, presented by Jamis, is unique (well, except for the Tour de Queens!) in that we are fortunate enough to receive considerable NYPD assistance. While we can’t shut down the streets, we do operate as a rolling parade, meaning that the NYPD closes street intersections long enough for the tour to roll through. In order to make sure that all those involved have the best experience possible, and to ensure the safety of everyone, we are once again limiting the tour to 1,250 participants this year. To make sure that we can afford to operate the tour, fees for 2014 will remain at $15 for T.A. members, and $20 for non-members.

Announcing a New Route for 2014!

The 2014 Tour de Brooklyn Presented by Jamis will start in beautiful Erie Basin Park, directly by Ikea Red Hook. The tour will be approximately 20 miles, and will visit the neighborhoods of Red Hook, Gowanus, Park Slope, Prospect Park South, Flatbush, Midwood, Flatlands, East Flatbush, Canarsie, Lefferts Gardens, and Prospect Heights. Our rest stop will bring you to one of Brooklyn's best kept secrets, Canarsie Piers.
